- The professional would need to lead a team of employees to implement a Six Sigma project. Being a Green Belt Certified professional, the person who has been certified as Green Belt in Six Sigma would need to understand the scope of the project and ensure that the Six Sigma project is planned and implemented accordingly.

- A green belt certified professional would also need to ensure that he has enough knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies so that he could undergo a lean six sigma training program. After the professional is lean Six Sigma certified, he would be able to reengineer a process' speed and quality with not impacting customer satisfaction.
What does one require to be a Six Sigma Green Belt certified professional?
The answer to this question is tricky yet simple. One does not need to have an exhaustive list of educational qualifications to get certified green belt in Six Sigma. The person would just need to have an eye for detail and work out the methods by which he could improve the process metrics. Since, all the Green Belt certified professionals are trained and should have complete knowledge of DMAIC, your learning during the course will all be around the DMAIC tools. Once you are certified as a Green Belt, you could choose from a list of tools which can be warranted for the project after discussing with a professional who is a certified black belt.
