Faculty Responsibilities for Work-Based Learning
- Determine if the student meets minimum requirements
- Recommend WBL worksites to students needing assistance
- Assist students in developing and evaluating the three (3) Measurable Learning Objectives (MLOs) related to the student’s program of study
- Provide at least one (1) mandatory site visit per student

Work-Based Learning strengthens classroom learning by giving students an opportunity to apply concepts and skills in real-world settings. It helps students connect what they learn in class to actual workplace experiences, build confidence and professional skills, and better understand how their education prepares them for future careers.
