C3 Program (NC State)
C3 (NC State) Transfer Partnership
C3 students who complete their Associate in Science, Associate in Arts, or Associate in Engineering degrees at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø and meet other criteria, including a cumulative 3.0 GPA or better, are guaranteed admission to NC State University.
C3 students receive access to many NC State University services while still enrolled at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø, including academic advising, financial planning, degree planning, and access to specific events.

Program Mission
NC State University’s Community College Collaboration program (C3) is intended for high-achieving community college students from low-to-moderate income backgrounds who have taken less than 30 hours at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø (including current credits) and plan to transfer to NC State University after completing their associate degree.
Entrance Requirements
To be eligible, students must:
- Have completed high school or less than 30 credit hours of college work at a community college
- Be below the $110,000 household income range
- Be an NC resident
- Have completed the FAFSA
- Have a major that is offered at NC State University
